Read In Summer and Excel (RISE)
The regression of academic development over summer breaks is a well-known phenomenon. Bookworm Central works to support continuous learning and maintain reading levels with the RISE program, which puts expertly selected books into the hands of the students you identify as having greatest need of reading support. The students take home assigned projects to ensure that they do the reading, and may be evaluated by their schools in September.
