Who can hold a book fair?
Any organization can do a book fair: PTAs, PTOs, schools, grade levels, individual classrooms, church groups - you get the picture.
Do I need to be tax-exempt or non-profit organization to do a book fair?
How much will I earn?
Proceeds are a percentage of sales and may vary based on the total sales generated at your book fair.
How long will my book fair last?
The choice is yours, but our most successful onsite book fairs are five days or less. Online book fairs can easily run throughout the year with minimal effort on your part.
How many book fairs can I carry out?
As many as you want! We do not have a requirement for number or type of book fairs per year.
When should I schedule my book fair?
When possible, we recommend scheduling your onsite book fair in conjunction with another well-attended event in the building, such as an open house, international night, or award ceremony. Some weeks are more popular than others, and Bookworm Central will do our best to work with your scheduled events.
Can I promote my book fair on Facebook, Twitter, and my own website?
Absolutely We encourage you- the more you spread the word, the more you earn.
How will you help me promote my book fair?
Yes, we help provide posters and other materials to help promote your fair.
When and how will I be paid?
You will be paid when final sales information from your book fair has been provided to and reviewed by Bookworm Central. Payment will be made in your chosen form whether it be cash, books, or a mix of both.
How will I manage my book fair?
We provide guidance to assist book fair coordinators through each step in hosting a book fair.
How much does shipping cost?
We deliver onsite book fair materials to your school or location free of charge.
